One thing I'm finding too is that in the bible Jesus says he does not say anything on his own - everything he says is what his father is saying - he only does & says what his father is doing - etc.
So wouldn't everything that the WT says that Jesus says be the same as saying jehovah said it?

First of all, Bible chronology shows that since the autumn of 1914CE we have been living in the "last days" of this system of things. Jesus indicated that these "last days" would not extend beyond the life-span of the generation seeing their start. (Matt.24:34) Hence, at least some people who witnessed the horrors of WW I will see the complete ed of government by imperfect men and bringing in of prosperity under the kingdom of God.

i thought i'd best make a new thread rather than add my message to the vigil thread, for example, as it might not otherwise get noticed.. yesterday afternoon i was allowed home from the hospital - but only until wednesday morning!
as many of you will know, i have been in christie cancer hospital in manchester, england, ready to undergo a stem cell transplant (in my case, stem cells taken from my blood to be returned later).

Scout - one question if I may.
Why does the WT disfellowship someone who doesn't want to be a part of their group any longer?
and that those who are df'd are doomed to die since they are not on the "ark"?
someone other than God makes that decision and instructs others that it is so.
